Shipping & Returns

General Shipping Information

We currently ship within the contiguous United States. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your items.

Parcel-sized orders ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Please note there may be a brief delay between label creation and carrier pickup.

Delivery timelines provided on product pages are estimates and may vary due to carrier or vendor delays.


Furniture Shipping

Many furniture pieces ship directly from our vendors and may require additional handling time. Estimated ship times are listed on each product page.

Furniture may be delivered via third-party freight carriers during standard weekday delivery hours. The carrier will contact you directly to schedule delivery when applicable.

Please inspect all furniture carefully upon delivery. If visible damage is present, refuse the shipment and note “damaged” on the delivery paperwork. Failure to report damage at the time of delivery may prevent us from filing a claim on your behalf.

All damage claims must be reported to info@spottedwhale.com within 24 hours of delivery.


Returns Policy

We have a 7-day return policy from the date you receive your order.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition you received them

  • Tags must be attached

  • Items must be in original packaging

  • Proof of purchase or receipt is required

To start a return, please email info@spottedwhale.com.

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Items sent back without prior return approval will not be accepted.


Non-Returnable Items

All furniture is non-returnable and non-refundable.

We also do not accept returns on:

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Special orders

Damages & Order Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us immediately at info@spottedwhale.com so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card company may require additional time to process and post the refund.
