Fluid and rhythmic, Wave brings movement and dimension to the table through an innovative take on traditional twill weaving. By gradually shifting weave structures, this design creates a striking ombré effect, where color subtly emerges and recedes across the surface. Crafted with Chilewich’s signature bi-color extruded yarns, the pattern forms undulating lines that feel both dynamic and refined.

Made in the USA, each placemat is constructed from TerraStrand® yarns with 25% renewable vegetable content and is free of phthalates. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, Wave offers exceptional durability while maintaining a sophisticated, modern aesthetic. The unbacked, reversible construction enhances versatility, and the slim 0.05" profile provides a clean, tailored look.

Care & Maintenance
Easy to clean, simply wipe with soap and water and allow to air dry. For deeper cleaning, mats can be sprayed with soapy water, gently scrubbed with a soft-bristle brush, or soaked and rinsed. Avoid alcohol-based or citrus cleaners, as well as dishwashers, washing machines, ironing, or heat drying. A high-temperature sanitizer may be used occasionally (up to once per week).

Storage
Store placemats flat to maintain their shape. Do not fold, crease, or store while wet. If creasing occurs, gently steam using a handheld garment steamer on the lowest setting.

Custom Options
Custom placemat and runner orders are available with a standard lead time of 2–3 weeks. Special shapes require a CAD file or template for production. All custom orders are final sale.
